A Chill Ass Kauai Itinerary
Out of all the Hawaiian islands, Kauai has a young, hip, adventurous vibe. However, I’m more of a seal at the beach vibe. So for those of you with the same speed, here some recommendations for beaching, food, and nature.
My Recs:
Coffee @ Outpost Coffee- they have breakfast items too! There’s a market around too if you want to buy reef safe sunscreen.
Buy some boogie boards at Walmart.
Lunch at Wake Up Delicious - I didn’t have a chance to eat here, but their menu looked AMAZING
Shave ice at Wishing Well
Get some poke at Foodland or Safeway. DUH. This is advice for every. Single. Hawaii trip.
Explore Waimea Canyon
Chill at Kiahuna Beach. This = seal at the beach vibe. Just a little bit further you have..
Boogie Board at Brennecke’s Beach- definitely skinned my knee on some sharp rocks here. Worth it. But right after, I had my tail between my legs and I went back to being a seal at the beach.
Maha’ulepu Heritage Trail for a chill hot girl hike.
Dinner at Bar Acuda
Drinks at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay
Grab some snacks and poke at The Fish Express. They have SO many options for a snack at the beach or food for the plane ride back.
Snorkeling: I was trying to find good snorkeling, but the water was really choppy when I went. Someone recommended a secret beach, but that requires you to trespass & I was scurred of trespassing. I would highly recommend boogie boarding.
