Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm Review

Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm Review

As much as I love bright matte lipsticks, they tend to leave my lips dry. I've been on the search for a pigmented lip balm that is not Vaseline based. Vaseline is great for locking in moisture, but not actually moisturizing. Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balms are great for the moisture. I know EOS is popular, but I just don't get it. Maybe I'm missing something.

+ Color variety
+ Moistuizing
+ Simple ingredients

- Colors look better on lighter skin
- Kind of expensive for a lip balm

I have medium toned skin, and here are reviews on the different colors:

Ripe Raspberry- Shows up vivid pink. Love this.
Sweet Peach - for some reason shows up bright pink on my skin. Sometimes it looks bomb, and sometimes it make me feel like a brown Pamela Anderson.
Honey Nectar - looks like my lip color with a faded pink undertone
Classic Red Mattelustre Lip Stick - this one is a little to bright and harsh on me. It goes on smooth though.

Would I recommend? Yes, if you have light skin. If you have darker skin, stick withRipe Raspberry.
