Paradise Loop is a classic bike ride in the Bay Area (Strava route). Being a new, but very determined biker, I was nervous about the elevation, traffic, and difficulty. Here's a Snobby Foodie's Guide to Paradise Loop - complete with 2nd brunch.
For the most part, I didn't feel like I was going to be hit by a car. Most of the route has designated bike lanes. On some of the streets in Tiburon, where the speed limit is 45- I would be cautious.
Best Time to Do It: Spring to Fall
What to Bring: See accessories list for beginner road cyclist.
Difficulty: Moderate with a little elevation.
If you want to make it a bit easier on yourself & shorten the ride to 30 miles, eliminate the Golden Gate Bridge portion of the ride. (Strava segment)
Brunch & Coffee : M & H Bread and Butter
