Korean Seafood Pancakes

Sometimes I have mad cravings, but I don’t have the ingredients. But I NEED to eat that particular food. Today, the craving was Korean Seafood pancakes. I don’t have any of the flour - no carrots, but a bunch of random veggies.

Flavor description: Salty, umami, savory, snacky

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Pageon

  • 1 cup shredded carrots

  • 4 sticks imitation crab meat

  • 1 tsp Hondashi (makes the pancake RICH)

  • 4 scallions

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • Spam

  • Vegetable oil (for cooking + 2 tbsp)

Instructions

  1. Cook shredded carrots in sesame oil, salt and pepper.

  2. Cook spam until golden brown.

  3. Chop imitation crab meat finely.

  4. Mix pancake mix with all other ingredients add 320 ml water and add 2 tbsp vegetable oil. Add Hondashi for saltiness.

  5. Throw all the ingredients together and ladle it onto the pan. Cook until crispy and golden :).
