Best Non Dairy Creamer for Boba

You may be here because of the Chemicals in your Bubble Tea article - or maybe you’re just lactose intolerant. Either way, it’s super hard to find a non-dairy milk substitute for bubble tea that doesn’t taste WEIRD.

Almond Milk

Rating: 3/5

This is what most places use, but it definitely changes the flavor of your drink. Almond milk also tends to have a thinner consistency. It also isn’t great for people with nut allergies.

Oatly Oat Milk

Rating: 5/5

Oat milk has a thicker consistency with minimal other flavor.

Soy Milk

Rating: 3/5

This is thicker than almond milk, but, again, it changes the flavor of the drink.

Coconut Milk

Rating: 3/5

I would only recommend this for coconut flavored drinks (i.e. you are making a coconut milk tea).

Ripple Plant Based Half and Half

Rating: 5/5

This one is by-far my favorite. It tastes like creamy milk, and the ingredients aren’t super creepy.
