Super Easy Fresh Lavender Syrup

Super Easy Fresh Lavender Syrup

I got my lavender plant at the beginning of the summer with the hope of having a lavender latte girl summer. We are deep into the summer and I haven’t had a lavender latte once. The process seemed so overwhelming. But once I finally got my lazy butt up- I realized I could make some magic. Anyway, today I was tired of my daily milk tea, and felt like it was time for some lavender syrup.

The process was actually way easier than I thought, but it DOES take some time. Instead of having my morning drink it was more like a mid morning drink, but at least now I have a whole bunch of syrup. Let’s hope I don’t get sick of lavender.

What you need:

  • 1 Tbsp lavender flowers (just pluck em and wash them)

  • 1 cup of sugar (lotsa sugar)

  • 1 cup of water

How do I make it?

  1. Wash your lavender flowers. Don’t have the fresh stuff? I got you. Use the dried stuff.

  2. Place everything in a pot and simmer for 15 mins.

  3. Let it steep on the counter until it cools down

  4. Strain into a fancy bottle

Sprinkle some in your Earl Grey tea or your morning latte and BOOM. Lavender latte girl summer. You’re welcome.
