Unpopular Opinion / Review: Bum Bum cream

Bum Bum cream is kind of overrated. I tried it for the first time a few months ago at a friend’s place. She was hyping it up, and told me that it makes her body super soft. I have kind a dry skin because of the California weather, so I figured I would give it a try.

I ran over to Sephora and purchased the cream for $45 - no coupon. I used the entire jar - it took around 3 months.

What I like:

• It applies smoothly and feel creamy

• It “absorbs” fairly quickly

What I don’t like:

• This cream feels like it’s just another ingredient hype, like remember when coconut oil was super popular? It gives me those vibes. Anyway, it’s cream has Capuacu Butter - for better or worse.

• It has a pretty intense warm coconut smell, which is not a bad thing for people who like that, but I’m not a fan of super fragranced products

• I didn’t really notice a drastic difference in my skin.

• I thought it was kind of expensive for what it was.

Would I recommend? No
