Life-Changing Foods

Do any of these brands need an ambassador? Judging by the amount of people I tell about these products, I am essentially unpaid personnel.

I love a lot of food but the these are products that I'm addicted to.  Addicted in the sense that I would probably write poetry about it, but a blog post will have to do. Needless to say, if you haven't tried these foods, they are life-changing.

Noosa

Aussie Culture. Colorado Fresh.

Whoever made Noosa is a genius. I'm usually not a huge fan of yogurt, but Noosa tastes like a creamy meringue pie. It's the perfect dessert and it comes in a wide variety of flavors. My favorites are honey, blueberry, and lemon. Costco has large packs of them. You can trick your brain into thinking it's eating dessert.

Horizon's Milk

This milk will change your life. One of my coffee shop tests is evaluating what type of milk is used. If they use Horizon's, they automatically go up a point in my book.

Horizon's milk (although outrageously expensive) is creamy, delicious, and has a sweet quality to it.  Those who say Berkeley Farms or Clover tastes similar are CRAZY.

Numi Chocolate Pu-Erh

Chocolate tea with an earthy and nutty taste... I first tried pu-erh at Samovar Tea Lounge and loved its smoothness.

I drink my tea with milk, like an Indian, so my final beverage is a creamy concoction. Add a bit of honey and it will be amazing.

 Founders Breakfast Stout

This is the most perfect beer there ever existed. I "found" it at the Banger's in Austin.  It's flavorful, balanced, and smooth. Most importantly, it pairs well chocolate brownies and ice cream.   They don't sell it in California, so I have to settle for Ballast Point's Victory at Sea.

Founders - if you see this, please sell in California. Actually, send your first case of breakfast stout to me.

Simi's Landslide Cabarnet

I had this wine at East End Wines in Austin. I have yet to find a grocery store that sells it. This is such a perfect red wine.

Rotisserie Chicken

Doesnt matter the brand- I love rotisserie chicken. It's versatile and delicious. Think about the possibilities: soup, tacos, salad!

I recommend you buy it from Sprouts because they sell chicken breasts by themselves, which is the best part of the chicken! You don't have to waste time de-boning the rest of the chicken.

Side story- I had a friend visit my apartment while I was eating a rotisserie chicken. She opened my fridge to find a second chicken. This defines my love for rotisserie chicken.

When Someone Makes You a Salad

So this isn't a product, but when someone makes you a salad, it is always better than a salad you make yourself. The greens taste crisper and the fruits and veggies are always more flavorful. Maybe it's the fact that making a salad is the worst task ever.

Trader Joe's Triple Gingersnaps

Make sure you get the triple gingersnaps or you will be sorely disappointed. There are bits real ginger and every bite.  At one point I was addicted, the only reason I would only go to Trader Joe's was to buy these.

I'll stop because I'm being very hungry.

Are you as strange as me? Are there any food products you love? Comment below.
