Cute Picnic Blankets you Need this Summer
If you know me, you’ll know that I LOVE LOVE LOVE PICNICS. Eating food outside is the DREAM.
Last week, my friends planned a picnic in the park. After hanging out comfortably in the sun for 4 hours, I realized I absolutely needed a picnic blanket.
At first I wanted to go for the cutesy ones, but you gotta be practical if you’re going to have a good time. A good picnic blanket:
Is comfortable to sit on. It is not fun sitting on a thin piece of cloth.
Has a waterproof bottom so you don’t get wet (CRITICAL). Nothing ruins a picnic like a wet blanket.
Is easy to fold up and carry. Picnic blankets with carry packs make things so much more organized.
Large enough to fit a couple of people. You’re not going to picnic by yourself are you?
It’s cute & food looks cute on it. DUH!
Here are my favorite Amazon finds for a classy picnic in the park. These blankets are the not the typical drab blankets, but something to up the anty on your fabulous picnic. You can use the blanket for picnics in the grass, to cover the bottom of your tent for comfort, and for fancy picnics. I prefer a light pattern with simple colors or a classic plaid.
Also, sometimes, you can find super cute picnic blankets on Walmart.com for HALF the cost. Definitely worth looking into.
