Mago is a Columbian restaurant tucked in Oakland’s Rockridge neighborhood. I tired the abbreviated tasting menu & it was great!

Campfire but Glampfire: The Solo Stove
Picture this: the sun is setting, casting a warm golden glow across the landscape. You gather around the crackling fire, mesmerized by the dancing flames.
I LOVED camping. LOVED it. But at some point of my life I got… snobby. Sleeping on the ground and running to the porta potty in the middle of the night was kinda brutal. I don’t know when it happened of why, but these days I crave those nights by the campfire. I miss chit-chatting with friends without sleeping on the ground.
So to recapture this wonder, I bought a firepit. The first firepit was TRASH. Smokey AF. You could barely sit by it without going into a coughing fit. So I decided not to cheap out and got the Solo Stove, which is advertised to be a smokeless firepit.
