Quick Reviews: Daytrip in Oakland

The restaurant has eclectic vibes and some really loud music, but the food is really unique. The menu changes frequently, so you’ll see something different every time you go.

Food: 8/10

Ambiance: 6/10

Would I go back? Yes!

What did I order?

  • Hot Focaccia: This was the star of the show. I don’t usually order bread, but OH MY GOODNESS.

  • Asparagus: I loved the flavor combo. IT WAS GOOD. The flavors blended together sooo well.

  • Some sort of Sous Vide Egg dish? I don’t remember what this was called, but it was just okay. I wasn’t a fan of the crunchy raw peanuts. The texture of the eggs was good.

  • Miso Butter Pasta: It was pretty good. The noodles were the perfect texture. The sauce was delicious, but just a tad to acidic for my taste.
