A post that may cause some controversy? The only thing meaner than a passionate coffee snob is a beer snob.

Disclaimer: This is just my personal take on beers BARS. I'm not rating the beer because everyone has their preferences... (I like dark stouts/porters that has a coffee/nutty/chocolate-y taste.)

The Trappist	Large selection, nice seating, and a great place to hipster-watch.
Russian River Brewery	I was really disappointed with the brewery- it looks like a typical sports bar.
Cellarmakers	Dark beer is my thing, which puts this place at the top of my list.
Ol	These people are quite snobby. They described the beer incorrectly. I asked for a replacement. And they rudely refused. For a loss of $6, they could have had a loyal customer.
E.J. Phair	I'm just not a fan of tthe selection here.
Hop Grenade	Good selection. The outdoor seating is nice.
Beer Revolution	Has a large selection of beers and the people are knowledgeable, I'm just not a fan of the indoor ambiance. Outside is nicer.
Pig & the Pickle	It's hard to sit and drink a beer here because of the set up. They have great options, and their people are very knowledgeable.
Monk's Kettle	The beer selection is great. The service/server knowledge is just ok.
21st Amendment	Just another sports bar- type feel.
Mikkeller	Prefer a better ambiance.
