I haven’t seen very many reviews about this product, but I think I am obsessed. I have been on a mission to find the perfect lip gloss. I’m not a fan of the glittery Pat McGrath look or the glossy-get-all-over-the-place Chanel Coco Gloss. I’m here for the tinted gloss look: minimal and chic. I want an aura - a lip glow. Anyway, I bought ALL the colors of the Givenchy Le Rose Perfecto Liquid Lip Balm.
What I like:
I love the applicator, which allows for precision
I love the feel of it on my lips. It’s plumping and hydrating. It’s like a skincare make up.
The moisturizing power is long-lasting
It looks like your lips, but BETTER. So it’s subtle and chic.
It smells SO good
What I don’t like:
The lighter colors tend to look meh on darker skin, but you can use them to get a specific “look”.
You gotta wait for it to kind of “set” on your lips to get to the final color. It’s like the warmth of our lips makes the gloss achieve its final color.
If you over apply the gloss, it kind of gets all in your mouth, but this is more user error.
I usually don’t like the idea of a gloss applicator because you’re constantly dipping the applicator in the gloss after applying. This = bacteria, and grosses me out.
Would I recommend? Yes, this gloss is so amazing. I am obsessed with it. It’s perfect for a daily look and even the colors you don’t think will look good on your skin, look amazing!
